Are these people for real, do they lie in bed at night trying to come up with outrageous ideas just to aggravate other people? For the life of me, I just don’t get it. Why can’t people but out of other people business and stop using the excuse that, “these things offend others”. My response is, “Too Bad”. I guess that some people just hate holidays and are a bit over the edge mentally.
There are many things that bug or disturb me, but that is a fact of life so get over it and live your life. It’s not a perfect world we live in and some small whiney group that grabs the attention of the media for their wacky cause and in their eyes, save man kind, is plainly becoming a pain in the butt. I wish they would just shut-up! The United States and every country around the world love their holidays and hold them dear. It’s a time for family and friends to gather together, people to spend money and it’s good for the economy.
I remember the clown lawyer in California, on his crusade to get “in God We Trust” off the money because he was atheist. Hey, that is our heritage so leave it alone. It just seems that some people want to undue everything that this Country is about if it doesn’t fit their way of thinking. Why then does everyone want to come here if we are so bad?
Then that leads to illegal emigrants, what a joke that mess is. Politically correct is to put water stations in the desert so they have an ample water supply for the journey. In that case why don’t we man food stations for them also? I guess we should send proper boats to the Cubans refugees so the trip is less hazardous. The list of absurdities can go on and on.
These last two examples are not really as absurd as they look at first glance. I’m sure there are those that would agree we should send boats and put food stations in the desert. However, we are not going to do it so get over it, it’s a fact of life and you have to come to grips with it. To say it’s not politically correct to say these things or feel this way is just another way to put people down when they don’t agree with you. Want to know something, not all the people are going to agree with you all the time anyway and so what if they don’t! What stinks today is if you say what’s on your mind; people call you names like racist, sexist, prejudice, and many others if you’re not “PC”. If you’re so shallow and insecure with yourself that you can’t have your own opinion and voice it, you are a sorry excuse for a human being and that is my opinion; politically correct or not.
