Positions Available: Psychiatric RNs & LPNs / LVNs

Compensation

• RN's earn $27-$30 per hour for FT or PT
• LVNs earn $19-$22 per hour
• $32 per hour for per diem
• PLUS Shift differentials
• Time and a half overtime compensation

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age
• Must have 1 year experience (psychiatric experience not required, prefer some ER/MedSurg experience)
• Must have minimum associates degree in nursing
• Must have Texas or compact states license
• Psychiatric Nursing certification desired, but not requried
• Knowledge of milieu management, ability to safely implement special treatment procedures.
• Manual/finger dexterity, hand-eye coordination, hearing and vision sufficient to perform essential job functions.
• Full range of motion including handling and lifting patients, ability to run, ability to restrain patients weighing up to 250 lbs.
• Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs., walk 6+ hours per day, frequently standing, bending, stooping and reaching to check or move equipment and assist patients.
• Ability to speak clearly and write legibly.
• Emotional stability sufficient to perform essential job functions.
