  The Owner of life and death has the sole authority to say what is immoral, or moral for His creation, doesn’t He?

STANDARDS OF GOD VERSUS THE STANDARDS OF MEN

Islamic laws are not man-made but are divine laws sent to God's prophets and messengers.  Different civilizations have different values and morals. Western morals are not the same as Islamic morals.  What then is morality? Morality is concerned with accepted rules and standard of human behavior, virtues in general conduct.  In other words, what is MORAL means GOOD, and what is BAD means immoral.   In the West, pre-marital sex is an accepted practice in their society, while it is immoral in Islamic law.   In Western laws, gambling establishments, wine industries, nudist clubs, homosexual society, pornography, etc. enjoy government support and protection.  The government demands taxes from their income.    Wine drinking, watching and reading pornography and free sex have become a daily routine in the Western society.  Yet, in Islam those are crimes: evil and shameful acts. Surely with exemption, there are few who are wise.

HYPOCRITES ARE THOSE WHO ENJOIN BAD AND FORBID WHAT IS JUST

Allaah has mentioned in the Qur’aan  that the hypocrites will enjoin bad and will forbid what is just and good.   A wine-drinker considers wine to be good, while a person who does not drink considers it to be bad. A cigarette-smoker considers cigarette to be good, but it is bad for the non-cigarette smoker.  Whoever wears hijab (female Islamic dress) feels comfortable and good (while wearing ) but for those who love nakedness, wearing hijab is oppression.   Allaah categorically says;

“The hypocrites, both men and women, proceed one from another. They enjoin the wrong, and they forbid the right, and they withhold their hands (from spending for the cause of Allaah). They forget Allaah, so He hath forgotten them. Lo! The hypocrites, they are the transgressors. Allaah promiseth the hypocrites, both men and women, and the disbelievers fire of hell for their abode. It will suffice them. Allaah curseth them, and theirs is lasting torment.” Qur’aan (AT-TAWBA) 9:67-68.

ALLAAH IS ABSOLUTELY ONE (NO FATHER AND NO SON)

 “They surely disbelieve who say: Lo! Allaah is the third of three; when there is no God save the One God. If they desist not from so saying, a painful doom will fall on those of them who disbelieve.” Qur’aan (Al-Maida) 5:73.

LEWDNESS, ABOMINATION AND WICKEDNESS

 “Lo! Allaah enjoineth justice and kindness, and giving to kinsfolk, and forbiddeth lewdnessandabominationand wickedness. He exhorteth you in order that ye may take heed.” Qur’aan (Al-Nahl) 16:20.

INTOXICANTS, GAMBLING & SUPERSTITIONS

“O ye who believe! Intoxicantsand gambling (dedication of) stones and (divination by) arrows are an abomination of Satan's handiwork: Eschew such (abomination) that ye may prosper.” Qur’aan (Al-Maida) 5:90.

STEALING

 “As to the thief male or female, cut off his or her hands: a punishment by way of example from Allaah for their crime: and Allaah is Exalted in Power.” Qur’aan (Al-Maida) 5:38.

SUSPICION AND BACKBITING

 “O ye who believe! Shun much suspicion; for lo, some suspicion is a crime. And spy not, neither backbite one another. Would one of you love to eat the flesh of his dead brother? Ye abhor that (so abhor the other)! And keep your duty (to Allaah). Lo! Allaah is Relenting, Merciful.” Qur’aan (Al-Hujurat) 49:12.

ADULTERY 

“And come not near unto adultery. Lo! It is an abomination and an evil way.” Qur’aan (Al-Israa) 17:32.

See how Islam teaches, not only prohibits  to commit  adultery but to go nearer is abhorrent. Any  action that leads to adultery is prohibited.

LIARS WILL NOT SUCCEED

“Say: Verily those who invent a lie concerning Allaah will not succeed.” Qur’aan (Yunus) 10:16.

Liars will end up destroying themselves. Look at the great leaders of the world: their efforts and sacrifices for their own countries have vanished with the wind.  They were either overthrown by their own people or have perished without legacy.  

PRETENDING TO BE PEACEMAKERS BUT IN REALITY THEY ARE MISCHIEF MAKERS

“And of mankind are some who say: We believe in Allaah and the Last Day, when they believe not. They think to beguile Allaah and those who believe, and they beguile none save themselves; but they perceive not. In their hearts is a disease, and Allaah increaseth their disease. A painful doom is theirs because they lie. And when it is said unto them: Make not mischief in the earth, they say: We are peacemakers only. Are not they indeed the mischief-makers? But they perceive not.” Qur’aan (Al-Baqara) 2:8-12.

WHOEVER SAYS, GOD HAS A SON COMMITS  IMMORALITY

 “And they say: The Beneficent hath taken unto Himself a son. Assuredly ye utter a disastrous thing.” Qur’aan (Maryam) 19:88,89.

When we choose our leaders, we must use our whole intellect to assure that they are not immoral. When we choose leaders: elders, councilors, mayors, legislators, senators, ministers, presidents… who are immoral and disobedient with the laws of God, what would we expect from them? Whoever or whatever is immoral begets immoralities.  A bitter seed will bring bitter fruits.

CHANGE STARTS FROM OURSELVES

What we can do for today, we should do it now, not tomorrow.   If we do not have the power to change against the handiwork of the devil (immoralities and unlawful ways) from our own accord, at least, we will influence them by reason or by any other means. If we will not move today, our next generations will suffer: worse than our suffering today, and they will be the victims of our own ways. If we want our children to walk straight, we the parents should discipline ourselves and to be good exemplars. God endowed us with ordinances and prophets, but why human beings prefer their own desires? Most people come to God only with repentance when calamities overpowered them. If one of our body-parts such kidney, heart, lungs, eyes,  senses will expire, we may exhaust all our richness in return for their normal functions.  But there are people when they are in  peace and happiness, they cannot remember their Creator. If a friend gives you a good car, what will you do in return? Even if he orders to kiss his shoes, a person will do perhaps. But to God, His orders are so sublime and pure. We are from God, and to God we shall return.

9) TO PURCHASE HEAVY EQUIPMENT AND PUT UP CONSTRUCTION FIRMS

10 ) TO ESTABLISH DOMESTIC AND INT’L BUSINESS LINKS

11) TO ESTABLISH INT’L RECRUITMENT AGENCIES AND DOMESTIC VOCATIONAL SCHOOLS

12) TO OFFER FREE SCHOLARSHIPS TO BRILLIANT STUDENTS.

Based on personal experience in my previous religion, the above modified mechanics integrating Islamic concepts insha’Allaah will overcome the problems in the field of Da’wah locally and internationally.  Wisdom, honesty, sincerity, endurance and perseverance are vital in order to succeed in any undertaking in life.
