To setup the iPhone for Exchange, start by setting up an email account by tapping Settings, then tapping Mail, Contacts, Calendars, and then Add Account…, and choose Microsoft Exchange.
What you do from there will depend on what version of Exchange you’re running. Theoretically, if you have Exchange 2007, your iPhone will be able to almost configure itself. If you have an earlier version, like the Exchange 2003 Server I was connecting to, you’ll have to enter your Exchange login info (user name, server name, password, etc.).

3. Tap Add Account.
4. Tap Other
5. Select the IMAP tab
6. Fill in your Account Information:
· Name: Your Name <Example: Adam Smith>
· Address: Your Email Address <Example: adam.smith@johndoe.com>
· Descripton: Name the mail account
7. Fill in Incoming Mail Server settings
· Host Name: cas01.apps4rent.com
· User Name: Your full email address <Example: adam.smith@johndoe.com>
· Password: Your mailbox password
8. Scroll Down and enter Outgoing Mail Server settings:
· Host Name: cas01.apps4rent.com
· User Name: Your full email address <Example: adam.smith@johndoe.com>
· Password: Your mailbox password
9. Tap Save to verify your account settings
