Why You Should Clean Your Windows Registry
Does your computer run slower and slower? Does it take longer for Windows to load and shut down? Do you experience crashes, the "blue screen of death" on your Windows computer?
Then you may have errors in your Windows registry that you are not aware of. This happens when programs are installed, then uninstalled. Or, when plug-ins from the internet are downloaded and then removed. Even some cookies can leave code in your computer's registry that can cause problems.
Cleaning the registry can fix start up Windows problems.
It is a great idea to clean the registry before you install new programs to give you a clean slate to start with. The more files you add to the registry without taking any unused or corrupted files away, the slower your computer will run and the more frequent crashes will be.
