Kokoda trail has the past history of World War II, when Australian diggers fought bravely against Japanese invasion; Japanese found their way to Kokoda track through a variety of environments ranging from low lying swamp to dense rainforest. There are many wartime memorabilia of the soldiers who laid down their lives in Kokoda village.
